 PCcompact COD vario Package
COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) is an important parameter in the assessment of waste water quality. The PCcompact COD vario package allows accurate and simple determination of COD. It includes the PCcompact COD vario photometer, two sets of tube tests for the range 0-150 mg/l and 0-1500 mg/l, the COD-Reactor AL 32 and a stand for tubes.
COD Reactors AL 32 and AL 34
With the Reactor AL 32 up to 8 standard 16 mm diameter tubes can be digested at the same time and the unit has additional space for a 22 mm digestion tube. The Reactor AL 34 has space for fourteen standard 16 mm tubes and two 22 mm digestion tubes. Both reactors include 2 temperature settings: 148¡C and 100¡C. The digestion time is set using the keypad on the front of the reactor. The reactor automatically switches off after the predetermined digestion time and an audible alarm will alert the operator that the digestion is complete.
PCcompact COD vario
The Aqualytic Photometer PCcompact COD vario covers a measuring range from 0 to 15000 mg/l O2 . It is therefore suitable for all areas of waste water analysis. Two stable LED light sources, a water-proof sample chamber, the large display and keypad all help to guarantee reliable and user-friendly operation.
COD-tube test
Aqualytic tube tests allow precise and accurate water analysis with the minimum of effort. Just add a specified volume of sample to the vial, place it in the COD reactor for chemical digestion, then transfer to the photometer for COD measurement. COD-tube tests are available in three measuring ranges: 0 - 150 mg/l O2 , 0 - 1500 mg/l O2 , 0 - 15000 mg/l O2 . The round tubes are made of special optical glass; they are supplied as packs of 25 reaction tubes in a secure storage and dispatch box. A standard chemical composition and 16 mm tube diameter means that Aqualytic COD-tube tests can be used in other brands of photometers.
