Kobold S Flow Switches
|
KOBOLD S - flow switches work on the well known float/variable area principle but without the use of an open conical measuring tube. Instead the instruments use a cylindrical control tube with a conical groove along its axis. This approach allows for higher rates of flow to be monitored in a compact switch. It also allows for greater control of turndown than with traditional conical tube variable area designs. This allows for a precise setpoint in an inexpensive switch. The flow switch can be used for continuous monitoring of fluids and gas flows to insure that excess or low flow cannot result in damage to the equipment. Applications can be found wherever it is necessary to monitor flow reliably. The S series is available in bodies of either nickel plated brass or stainless steel.
