PA200 Palm Abbe - Bench Top Accuracy in the Palm of Your Hand
 The PA200 is a handheld digital Abbe refractometer that rivals the range and accuracy of many bench top laboratory refractometers. Readings display nearly instantly on the large multi-line LCD and are automatically temperature compensated over a wide range.
The PA200 can even store readings and download them to your computer using a built-in infrared port. The PA200’s optics and sensing element are securely mounted in a steel frame that is housed in a high impact chemical-resistant plastic body, providing protection from harsh working environments.
The instrument features the ability to be calibrated at one or more points over its entire range and can be programmed with custom scales for the fluid of your choice. An auto sleep mode extends battery life.

Widest Range & Highest Accuracy
The Palm Abbe uses state of the art optics and a 3600 cell linear array to give you the widest range and most accuracy of ANY handheld digital refractometer available.
Dual temperature sensors track both sample and ambient temperature. Automatic temperature compensation further enhances accuracy eliminating the need for manual temperature corrections or an external water bath.
FAST and Easy to Use
The Palm Abbe is easy to operate. Just place a few drops of sample on the prism and press one of the function keys. The reading is displayed almost instantly. An auto power mode extends battery life.
Measure Brix & Refractive Index (nD)
The Palm Abbe is preset for measuring Brix, refractive index, and refractive index automatically corrected for temperature.
Up To 3 Custom Scales
Up to 3 user-defined scales can be programmed into the Palm Abbe for the particular fluids you measure most often. Ask us about custom programming.
 Infrared Uplink
Transfer up to 225 stored readings to your computer using the optional IR receiver port and special software. You can download the day's readings or view the current calibration data and settings. Data includes time/date stamp, reading value, units, scale name, temperature, and sample number. IR receiver requires a computer equipped with a serial port.
