Read Levels and Control Processes in One Device
Access to level information or your tanks or dimensional data in your process line is easy with these displays. Compact and powerful, they can recalculate sensor data into meaningful units, such as gallons or percent full, and use those units to control other processes. Choose serial or analog inputs, and one or two line displays.
Serial displays can monitor a single sensor or up to 32 sensors in a network using any ToughSonic RS-485 sensor model. Displays can also attach and snoop the network to mirror readings at multiple locations or to display particular sensor values. Relays, alarms, and isolated analog outputs offer additional process control options.
Input data can also be linearized to handle applications such as converting the liquid height in a horizontal cylindrical tank to volume in gallons, or the height of water in a weir to flow rate.
These are also our most versatile ultrasonic sensors. You can configure powerful extended features using SenixVIEW software (included with any sensor) or use the Teach button for in situ adjustments. Several fully configurable and simultaneous outputs are provided, including serial data (RS-232 or RS-485, by model), analog (0-10 VDC and 4-20 mA) and switches (configurable as sinking or sourcing). Groups of sensors can be synchronized to prevent mutual interference, or up to 32 RS-485 models can be used in a multi-drop addressable network using the Modbus protocol all standard features. We call these sensors general purpose because they have the configurability and ruggedness to solve almost any non-contact sensing challenge.
Senix also offers ToughSonic ruggedness in a sealed, chemically-resistant housing. Please compare our entire ultrasonic sensor product line to find the right sensor for your application.
