Turtle Tough-SLURRY-pH Slurry pH Sensor
The TT-SLURRY-pH Sensor is extremely versatile for a variety of installation methods. By utilizing a double thickness 3/4" x 1" or 3/4" x 3/4" RADEL body, it is suitable for both immersion, submersion and valve retractable installation types. The RADEL body material offers excellent resistance to abrasion at an economical price, while a fast response TC is built in close to the sensing element for superior calibration accuracy in all installation types. The real secret to this sensor is the glass. Known for its fragility, the glass sensing element is often the weakest link in sensors having to cope with high velocity solids and slurry abrasion. Our unique and proprietary glass formulation is arguably the strongest pH glass bulb in the world and is capable of withstanding direct impact from high velocity slurries. We like to think it is 'virtually' unbreakable for it's intended use. Fouling is another common problem with many brands of sensors, however our open geometry, coating resistant materials and our preference for high velocity (to keep the sensor clean) maintain optimal performance of the sensor within the sensibilities of a standard cleaning regime. Digital Smart Sensor Technology (DSST) This sensor is available with our digital smart sensor technology. This plug and play sensor has a quick connect fitting, eliminating the need for hard wiring to the analyser. On-board sensor memory allows the storage of calibration data, analyser configurations and sensor service history. This allows the sensor to be conveniently maintained and calibrated off-site or in the laboratory and pre-programmed with calibration data and analyser configurations. This stored information automatically uploads to the analyser upon connection and eliminates the need for any interaction with the analyser, greatly simplifying the change-out of sensors. A service log stored on the sensors is ideal for maintenance and quality assurance records.
