GP-VI Submersible pH Sensor
The GP-VI Submersible pH Sensor is designed to go under completely! The unique back-end assembly allows sealing to be run down the length of the cable; completely isolating it from the process media and eliminating the risk of ingress or poisoning. This allows for very long life at deep submersion in even the most aggressive processes without needing to seal the sensor onto an immersion rod. The flexible cable sealing actually allows a sensor to be lowered into a tank or process directly by the cable itself, without any supporting structure. Turtle Tough have design unique and proprietary sensor guide tubes to facilitate this optional installation method, eliminating the need for heaving and cumbersome immersion rods.
The RADEL body plastics provide a cost-effective resistance to chemical attack, and the high capacity Polypropylene reference supports both chemical and temperate resistance. Utilising our proprietary toughened glass the sensor is ideal for slurries and abrasive media as well as being capable of resisting acids or fluorides that may chemically attack the glass.
The GP-VI Submersible pH Sensor is a popular configuration and demanded by many applications. As such this sensor is available in many optional configurations including high impact break resistant glass, ultra high temperature, dissolved gas and volatile organic solvent resistant, high HF acid resistant, brine and extreme dehydration resistance.
This sensor is ideal for any applications where process media containing free sulphide species such as hydrogen sulphide gas (H2S), hydrogen sulphide (HS-) or sulphide ions (S2-). Any measurement where aggressive chemical cleaning is needed to remove fouling or low maintenance operation is required with minimal cleaning and recalibration.
Digital Smart Sensor Technology (DSST)
This sensor is available with our digital smart sensor technology. This plug and play sensor has a quick connect fitting, eliminating the need for hard wiring to the analyser. Onboard sensor memory allows the storage of calibration data, analyser configurations and sensor service history. This allows the sensor to be conveniently maintained and calibrated off-site or in the laboratory and pre-programmed with calibration data and analyser configurations. This stored information automatically uploads to the analyser upon connection and eliminates the need for any interaction with the analyser, greatly simplifying the change-out of sensors. A service log stored on the sensors is ideal for maintenance and quality assurance records.
